East Haven, CT - The Division of State Police in Connecticut, a part of the Department of Public Safety (DPS), is rolling out a set of completely revamped Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Record Management Systems (RMS) and Mobile and Wireless data technologies aimed at putting critical public safety data in the hands of officers in patrol vehicles at a moments notice. The provider is NexGen Solutions, a Connecticut based software company who has signed an eight year, $7million contract with the Connecticut Department of Information Technology to provide these products.
