LEAS-Law Enforcement Administration System
NexGen Solutions makes and markets a comprehensive family of powerful public safety fire and EMS software products. We focus on integration services, training, network support and ongoing maintenance. We are the only locally owned, full service solutions provider headquartered in Connecticut devoted to city, town and state departments and agencies.
NexGen principals have decades of hands-on experience as trained Law Enforcement and Public Sector officials. So, they know exactly what it takes to provide cost effective technology solutions to the demanding requirements of police, fire and EMS situations. NexGen also knows how to integrate with FBI, NCIC and NIBRS standards.
NexGen's flagship is the Law Enforcement Administration System (LEAS), a comprehensive and interactive computer software system containing modules that can be divided into three primary functional areas:
- Computer-Aided Dispatch
- Records Management System (RMS)
- Scheduling
Each of these functional areas can be used as a stand-alone entity, but all three areas are designed to work together in an integrated system. LEAS has been designed to reduce data entry, speed up and ease access to vital information, and simplify investigative work by sharing data throughout the system.
AVL- Automated Vehicle Location System
Lets you graphically track your mobile fleet right from your desktop, displaying various positional data including heading, speed and location. Vehicle activity is displayed in real time, and can be stored to the database for later historical viewing.
The system will track vehicles wherever there is local cellular digital packet data coverage (CDPD) to transmit the vehicle data to your office.
The mobile portion of the software uses the US Department of Defense Global Positioning System satellite constellation to accurately track the vehicles in your fleet anywhere in the world. Using a powerful and easy-to-use interface, NexGen AVL displays icons of your fleet vehicles directly on digital maps that have been prepared using the latest US Census Bureau data.
